Problems adding new MGCP E1

Hi all

I have added a new E1 card in our mgcp GW and can see it in the sh diag and sh inventory. However when I try to add the controller e1 0/1/0 or 0/0/1 etc (we already have a card in 0/0/0) it does not take. I have moved the card into all the other slots and the same. We are running c2800nm-spservicesk9-mz.124-18.bin. I have set up the E1 on the CUCM 5.0 exactly the same as the other? I have used the 0/? on all options and it only gave me the 0 option ie 0/0/0 all the way

Any ideas?

Hi Simon,

This is usually an indication that you are short of DSP resources. Have a look at this excellent thread with some nice answers from Nick, Pedro and Sushil;
