Hi,

The attached is the output of the snmp walk on reacheable device,Which lines indicates that the device is reacheable through LMS????????

If suppose any of the devices not reacheable what would have been shown in SNMP Walk??????

You will get the following error if the device is not reachable.

Failed to snmpwalk the device. Please check your community string and starting OID, and try again.

The fact that you got any response indicates that the device is reachable. If it had not been reachable, you would have gotten an error about the device being unreachable, and to check timeouts and credentials.

From ur above mail i understand that if the device is unreacheable it will give an error otherwise not?? Correct me if am wrong.

It the device is not reachable as Joe said, you will have an error message.

In the attachment you posted, the device is clearly reachable as it responds to snmpwalk with the values for the OIDs it is queried.

You will get the following error if the device is not reachable.

Failed to snmpwalk the device. Please check your community string and starting OID, and try again.
