Unanswered Question

Is CCNA certified a requirement for CCNP papers?

So can i take the papers in the following sequence?

1-ONT

2-BCMSN

3-CCNA

4-BSCI

5-ISCW

If it is possible, then when will my CCNP expire? 3 years after the ISCW exam date?

Yes.

If you saved the CCNA exam for the last exam, your CCNP would still expire 3 years after you passed your last professional level exam.

Hi,

You can do it in the order listed, but why? Your sequence does not make sense.

CCNA is a foundation for all professional level exam, so it should be taken first.

You can not really understand traffic optimisation concepts or advanced switching configuration without having basic understanding which you will get by studying for CCNA (and having hands on experience as well).

All professional level certifications will expire after 3 years unless you take another professional level exam within 3 years.
