What wont work?

The Setting of Motion Detection Windows?

Yes, this is a known limit (ActiveX needed).

Also that WVC200 model is an OLD camera & is currently not supported on the SWVMS16 Monitoring client just to point that out for you.

Steve, Thanks for your response

ActiveX issue?

Am I missing an add-in for firefox?

The WVC200 web browser works fine in IE8 but not in Firefox 3.5

Oh OK.  Well, you will stumble into the 'motion detection window set up" requiring IE, but you are saying you cannot launch the browser at the camera GUI at all?

That is not normal and I have not heard of this and have that camera and use FF for years on it.  You dont have a proxy or anything like that set on FF do you?

Can you get the the router typing the full path:  http://192.168.x.1

Are you on the LAN and typing the IP address of the Camera and you ahvent set an alternate HTTP port or enabled HTTPS or anything did you?  Althought that would also fail for IE maybe unless different SSL if using HTTPS?

per another user, i changed the settings (Setup / Image / Image Type) to mjpeg and all works fine now in FireFox 3.5.1

Thanks all!
