Hi I am facing high latency in server farm cat 4948...I have done troubleshooting a lot but failed..pls suggest me the solution. its quite urgent. thnks

High latency -- have you determined whether your links are congested or not? If you have, how did you determine this?

Is this high latency all the time? What do you consider high? How are you measuring the latency and what's the topology you're running across?

More (much more) detail would be helpful.

How is the CPU on the Catalyst(s): "show proc cpu" and "show proc cpu history"?

Is there any strange traffic going through the switch(es): "show ip traffic"?

Does the high-latency also applies to intra-VLAN traffic (between devices on the same IP subnet) or only to inter-VLAN traffic (between devices on different IP subnets)?
