IPv6 router solicitation !

Hi all. I have configured my router to be in host mode

no ip routing

no ipv6 unicast-routing

As per definition, whenever a host comes up (configured to use ipv6) will send RS messages to discover ipv6 routers on local link. But when cisco routers are configured in host mode, they dont send these packets (icmp type 133). Why is that so ? can someone guide me pls

looking at

you may need something like

no ipv6 nd rs suppress

in interface configuration mode
