Call History in IP phone

Dear,

We are planning to do some outage in our CEO office. So IP phone will get disconnected from Switch and Call manager. But we have concern that we will lose call history in IP phone or not after the outage. So can anyone help me on concern? How long phone will remain the Call history ( Missed, placed, received call)?

Phone reload will erase call history (power it off and on) but phone reset from CM or by pressing keys don't erase call history.

Hi Ziyad,

Just to add a note to the good tips from Konrad (+5 points for your nice work here Konrad :)

Different IP Phone models display different behaviour when it comes to this question. Older models like the 7940/7960 series will lose the Call History when they have been disconnected, but newer models like the 7941/7961 or 7942/7962 series will keep their Call history when the have been disconnected. Check out what model the CEO is using and test a "like" model beforehand :)
