Replacing VG224 CUCM 5.1.3-SCCP

Replacing a faulty VG224 (some dead ports). We edit the mac-address and update it in CUCM but the ports don't register. We can change the mac back and re-install the original and it works. Why can't you edit the gateway mac and swap out the box?

To replace the VG224, you will want to ensure the new one has the same configuration as the old one. Copy the configuration to the startup config of the new VG224. Also want to install the same IOS version on the new one. You will also need to edit the VG224 gateway configuration in CallManager to get the new MAC address configured; otherwise CallManager will not be able to communicate with the gateway.

We had done all of that. It's a bug in 5.13c CUCM.
