Hello,
I'm looking to adjust the OSPF interface cost on one of my ASAs to match the rest of my network. Other ASAs have the command "ospf cost 1000" on their interfaces but this particular ASA has a trunk with subinterfaces. Has anyone run this configuration before? I can't find this situation in the docs. I'm running 8.0(3) and am allowed to configure the ospf cost command on the physical interface but not the subinterfaces. I don't see a problem with this but I thought I would ask to see if anyone else is doing this.
Thanks,
Matt

Hello Matt,
is ospf cost command supported on subinterfaces?
command reference is not clear about this.
Hope to help

Yeah, that's why I posted, nothing is clear about subinterfaces. I'm 99% sure the OSPF cost is assigned to the root interface only but I can't find definitive docs to confirm. No big deal. It's working and looks as expected so I'm just going to move forward.
Thanks again for the input.
Matt
