Cisco IP phone as doorphone

I need to install any Cisco IP phone for use as doorphone (indoor conditions). I need touchscreen and handsfree capabilities, so the visitors can select the extension and call with it in handsfree mode. I imagine a model similar to 7975 without handset. Can I modify or disable handset on 7975 or exist any model that supports these mode of operation ? (Cisco IP touchscreen doorpone). Thank you very much.

No you cannot disable the handset on a 7975. There are third parties that manufacture RFC3261-compliant SIP intercoms however. That would be the recommended course of action.
