Migration process from 4.1 to 7.0 process

Hi experts,

right now we are migrating our CCM v4.1 and IPCC v4.0 to CCM&IPCC v 7.0

I need to know which is the best practice for a migration plan.

I need to know if I can Upgrade the CCM up to 7 and then migrate my IPCC, or should I need to migrate my CCM up to 6 and then migrate the IPCC to 7.

If someone can help in order to know which is the best way to do this, appreciated!

CUCM 6 will work with IPCC 7.x. But thats a lot of work, then to upgrade to CUCM 7.x. If you have a small IPCC enviroment, upgrade it all at once. I usually DMA my 4.x servers, the run the upgrade to 7.x in the lab to see how it goes. When I ready for the final cut, I DMA the 4.x server again, then run the install process again.

If you do not have new servers, then this is a little tough.
