VPN on different cisco devices

Hello

I have a 3 site WAN. Site 1 & 2 have a cisco 871 router each which connects to site 3. Site 3 has an ME3400. All three sites are linked via a WAN so there's no internet.

I am wanting to enable VPN on each device in order to protect the traffic. With the given devices can this be done? Will the ME3400 VPN work with the 871s?

Hello Willem,

ME3400 being a metro ethernet product supports L3 MPLS VPN

871 likely supports ipsec vpn

You may have problems
