Hello All
I am having problems with Unity 7 and playback. The voice propmts are sometimes choppy and the playback is sometimes speeded up so fast that it is intelligible. It is as if the choppiness is compensated by speeding up the audio. This is happening on the lan, wan and pstn.
I have added Qos through the lan network and the port the unity server connects.
Any advice would be helpful.
The voice on the network is fine.
Thanks
Feisal

Playback speeds is probably a sticky feature that was newly introduced in version 7.

You can monitor this defect to see for an upcoming release if that can be disabled.

Hello Rmai
Thanks for that. It seems that the playback was corrected after more virtual cpu's were addeded to the virtual machine, the dynamic size was changed to a fixed size disk and the box was rebooted. Also some more intensive vm machines were removed. This has solved the problem of the choppy and sometimes incoherent playback.
Before anyone says it I know its not supported on a virtual machine but its the credit crunch :)
Thanks
