Can an 1811w be configured as a Hotspot? I want a guest VWAP and a private office VWAP (Multiple ssids) and how would authentication be done? A local database on the router or does the router support access to an LDAP database (Microsoft)? Is a NAC device required?

Hi,

Yes you can configure the router for a hotspot, choosing to broadcast multiple SSID's. Each SSID can be configured with different authentication methods including backoff to external RADIUS/DB if required. NAC isn't required to do this.

Config guide for most of your requirements below:

Hope this helps.
