Hi,
We have deployed VSS as new distribution for our external network. It deployed in such a way that the switches are spanned across on two different locations(Primary DR and DR site) . It has 2x10Gig dark fibres across the sites.
But VSS switch doesn't have any L2 ether channels, all the links to core and other external routers are Layer-3.
In this case if the VSL link fails both the switches will become active and will affect the traffic. Is there any way to overcome this issue ???

Hello Aslam,
if you have available additional dark fiber links you can use them for 10GE links dedicated to BFD dual active detection or fast hello (or both)
(1GE links may be enough to be checked)
This a form of protection against fault of VSL link.
However, having deployed the VSS between the primary site and DR site I'm not sure that in your case a dual active scenario is a problem.
