Hi,
We're about to migrate a site in Italy to IPT (personally my first one in this country) so was wondering if anyone could share a working dial plan? The only info I could find so far was on Wikipedia...
TIA.

Since Italy has variable length numbers, it's not worth to enforce a detailed dial-plan. Generally you allow [01348]..T
The most difficult thing is to block premium services because they use a miriad of prefixes.

You need to be aware of the DDI numbers as it was mentioned they are variable lengths and the delay
391235551 - could be the SWB
391235551234- DDI number
If you use H323 as the dial-peer then make use of the $ ( end of digit???) sign at the end so if I remember
/391235551$/ / 1/ translate it to 1 ( SWB number)
/391235551.../ / no translation ( send call to the DN)
Or words to that effect
This way if the call is for the SWB and it is an exact match and so no delay
