LMS 3.1 to 3.2 upgrade

We have 2 LMS 3.1 systems running in a Master-Slave configuration and want to upgrade to LMS 3.2. Is there any preference as to which system should be upgraded first, or does it matter? I could not find anything in the Data Migration guide regarding Master-Slave configurations. Thanks

You should upgrade the Master server first. After that has been successfully completed, you should restart daemon manager on the slave prior to upgrading it.

Hope this helps.

Yes that helps very much, thank you.

Out of curiosity, is there any place where that is documented?

A nod to our resident Cisco expert, Joe Clarke, for the original answer to this question - it was covered in an earlier posting: http://forum.cisco.com/eforum/servlet/NetProf?page=netprof&forum=Network%20Infrastructure&topic=Network%20Management&CommCmd=MB%3Fcmd%3Dpass_through%26location%3Doutline%40%5E1%40%40.2cd358f6/0#selected_message

The procedure is also documented (albeit briefly) in the "Installing and Getting Started with CiscoWorks LAN Management Solution 3.2" document. The relevant section is here: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/ciscoworks_lan_management_solution/3.2/install/guide1/overview.html#wp1086033

Hope this helps.
