Managing 2960G (ports 21 to 24)

Is there a specific reason why i'm not able, in CLI or web interface, to manage any of the trunk ports 21st to 24th ? We're plugged to a IAP's router which is configured 10mb full and the port is giving me Half-duplex. I can't change it from Auto, i don't have any choice than Auto.. To make it working well, i have to plug it in the 20th port and set it to Auto Speed but Full-Duplex.

So, can we manage those 4 ports and if yes, how?

Thanks

If I remember correctly, those four ports are dual-ports, i.e. they can either be RJ45 or SFP. This means that you ahve to definee media-type before you can configure speed/duplex.

interface g0/21

media-type [rj45|sfp]

It works! Thank you very much. Pretty interesting to know though.

good day
