Trying to get a TFTP session going..

So I am trying to upgrade a PIX 515E to 7.0 from 6.3. I blew away the config and plugged in a little 4 port switch into eth1 on the PIX and on the other side there is a laptop.

The laptop is 192.168.1.5 and I configured the PIX through the interactive prompts to 192.168.1.4. I cannot ping between the two.

Anything that I am doing obviously wrong here? Thanks all.

name the e1 interface as "inside" and enable it.

Did that already.

eth1 "inside" is up and line protocol is up.

Any other ideas?

check the show arp on the pix, make sure the firewall on the PC is disabled.

If the above is OK - post the config, with the output of "show route" and "show interface"
