the command show snmp mib on IOS should provide you with this information.

thks. However, is there any way I can find out or single out the ones which have 'traps defined' in them, without having to open / read them ?

the command : snmp-server enable traps ? will list you all the possible traps for snmp to be sent from the device

hi,
sorry i prob. am not making myself clear.
What I am trying to do is to import mibs into a management software trap manager. However, I only need / want the mibs that already have the traps defined in them - that way my mangement software will be able to translate the traps into meaningful messages.

If you already getting traps you can search by OID in which MIB they're defined with http://tools.cisco.com/Support/SNMP/do/BrowseOID.do?local=en
