SNR Caller ID

I have noticed that on PRI circuits to the telco and sip trunks to the telco that when a SCCP phone blind transfers to an enterprise number which then finds the user on their cell phone that the caller id is from the phone that transferred the call not the original caller id. Is that normal? I have posted this on other sites I am just checking answers and responses.

Thx. Jefferson

That is correct. There is no way, especially if the original caller is external, to send that original caller ID on the second leg of the call. The caller ID has to be part of the number range of the PRI that made the call; in your case, the Enterprise number range. This does work for the E911 though.

Hope this helps!
