Configure 2811 as transcoding device

HI Guys,

I need your help on this..I have a customer going to install CUCM solution on multiple site.. because of bandwidth limitation some sites will be running G729 over wan and some sites are running G711.... How do i configure a cisco 2811 router which has PVDM 64 installed in it as a trancoding device..

In esence i want sites running G711 and sites running G729 talk to each other and enjoy other fancy features like conference.

Hello my friend.

Thanks a lot for your reply.. I forgot to mention that we are using call manager 7.0 version..1 publisher and 3 subscriber servers...does this configuration still valid for my solution or configuration for transcoding will change ??

It still works, the interface of 2nd link is just a little changed but all the IOS commands are exactly the same for any version.
