Quoting Nexus 1000v is not simple. Apparently it must go through VMWare instead of Cisco. The problem we are running into is pricing for maintenance support. It doesn't look like SMARTnet but rather some kind of shared support between vmware and cisco, where both companies are making a lot of $ (?). VMWare provided us with pricing where the customer will end up paying for support around *four* times the price of the 1000v license. Is this normal?
