2. In dekphone phone the call is landing and i can recieve the phone call but i am not able to hear anything from CUPC throug a attached headphone in my Laptop where cupc is installed.

The CUPC softphone is getting registered in CUCM as a SIP phone.

Any help in resolving the issue will be apreceiated.

In deskphone mode, the audio goes to your deskphone. that's why you couldn't hear anything on computer.

Please let me know:

1) What's the detailed version of CUCM

2) What's the detailed version of CUPC (client)

3) What's the dialed string (including any non-numeric characters)

4) Have you configured CSS (Calling Search Space) for CUPC?

Thanks!

Michael

Hi htluo

1. The CUCM version is 7.0(1)

2. CUPC version is 7.0(2)

3. DIALING STRING IS 4xxx

4. Yes CSS has been configured for CUPC line

Is there a comma in the display name, e.g. "Smith, John"? CUCM 7.0(1) cannot handle the comma. You either remove the comma or upgrade CUCM.

Michael

Hi

No there is no comma in the display name .

The problem is that i am not able to dial from the CUPC when in softphone mode.

I am getting a message that the called number is out of service in CUPC

We need CallManager trace to analyze the call flow.

Michael

I couldn't find any INVITE for the number you mentioned. Have you turned on "SIP Call Processing" debug option?

Michael

Hi Michael

Plz find the new loggs that i have taken

The Device name is "upckiransnext".

This is the CUPC .

The DN is 3168 i am tryiong to dial 4555,3162

Also plz let me know jow to enable debug for SIP call processing in the SERVER

I saw a couple INVITEs in the logs, but none of them matches with the DN you dial:

Who is 202.54.112.194? Who is 10.2.10.196?

Michael

Hi Michael

202.54.112.194 is a SIP trunk for ISP but we are not using this This customer used for dialing to number that ios outside the cluster.

The main issue that we are not able to dial number that is registeicred in the cluster.

You can check for the device name " UPCKIRANSNEXT ".

This is the device name of CUPC that is registerd with cucm.

We're not seeing any INVITE on CUCM. Could you do a packet capture on CUPC and see if it ever sent out the INVITE to CUCM?

Thanks!

Michael

Hi Micheal

We have tested it in the Windows 2007 and vista machine will that be a problem.

Aslo find the attached loggs for CUPC
