Cisco UP SIP proxy service starting

Hi before we entered a proxy domain the UP SIP proxy service had started. since we have input the proxy domain the service sits there as 'starting' and never gets 'started'?? any advise appreciated

Maybe a stupid question, but did you come back a couple minutes later and check it again?

Please note: do not use your web browser's "refresh" button. Instead, you should use the "refresh" button on the web page.

If you use the web browser's refresh button, that means "repeat the last action". If your last action is restart the SIP proxy, it will restart again.

Michael thanks, no this is not the case, we have also tried restarting the server completely.

You may try to telnet to the server on port 5060 and see if it's opened.

You may also set the SIP proxy trace level to debug and choose all options. Then restart SIP Proxy again and collect traces.
