Having an issue where when dialing into Unity to check messages after entering ID and password there can be a delay before exchange authenticates and comes back with mailbox information. This delay is dependent upon the number of messages that are in a users inbox (more mail more delay). Is there a fix or work around other than removing mail out of inbox. We have Unity 5, Exchange 07 and 3 AD boxes. Any one else having this problem too?

Ensure that you have the latest ES. There have been changes to search folders and more detailed error messages will be written to the application log.

Also ensure your NIC's are set to the correct speed and not auto.

Also ensure your exchange build is at least rollup 4 build 8.1.291.2
