ANI database engine service terminated unexpectedly

I was having issues last week with the ANIServer process (busy flag set). I had used the following:

NMSROOT/bin/perl NMSROOT/bin/dbRestoreOrig.pl dsn=ani dmprefix=ANI

which helped to get the server to a stable state (all processes running, no apparent issues).

I just rebooted the server today and found the following in the event logs. To get the server back up and running, I use the above command again.

Has anyone else been running into this issue?

It's entirely possible that the shutdown corrupted the database. Windows does not wait long enough for Daemon Manager to stop when it performs a shutdown/restart. Therefore, it is ALWAYS recommended to do a "net stop crmdmgtd" before you shutdown or reboot a server to ensure that all of the databases are shutdown properly.

In this case, I did use "net stop crmdmgtd" first, ran a backup job to image the server, and then rebooted. The error happened after that.

You might have a bad disk. Can you reproduce this simply by shutting down Daemon Manager, and rebooting? I have LMS 3.2 installed on two Windows servers, and two Solaris servers, and I am not seeing any such corruption issues.
