SSH to secondary unit Active/Standby pair

Hello,

I have encounter a very weird issue. I have a pair of 5510 setup as active/standby configuration. For some reason, I cannot ssh to standby but does not have any issue ssh to the active unit.

I am running software versio 8.0(4). Is this by design or am I missing something here.

could be a couple of things...

1. can you ping the standby (if so, it's not a routing issue)

2. can you telnet/https to the standby?

3. can you telnet to port 22 of the standby?

The problem went away after rebooting both unit. Not sure what is the cause though.

Generating the RSA key/pair on the standby unit should help.
