Hi all,

my customer wants to implement security through obscurity and therefore uses Port 579 for SMTP instead of 25. I tried the syntax A.B.C.D:Port on the Email Server page which was accepted and saved but did not work. :-(

Does MPE support sending Emails through a different port than 25 and what would I have to do?

Hi Markus,

I am having the same issue, i need to change the smtp port number from the default (25). Were you able to change on your end? and if so, how did you do it?
