New to CISCO

Hello all,

I am new to CISCO and am looking to gain CCNA certification after I finish the term I am in now and one additional term.

My question is this:

Has the Cisco certifications helped you gain or enhance your career via promotion and/or financial gain?

I have this problem too.

Definitely, I finished my CCNA a couple of years ago and it helped me boost at the company. It helped me to start building my knowledge and my skills in networking in general and it gave me the confidence to apply for new job roles.

Without the CCNA I could get as far as the CCIE.

So I really encourage you to start your networking knowledge and CCNA is by far the best option. You will see that with it you'll learn a lot but most important is that you are going to start wondering how other stuff works and if you like it you will wanna get a little deeper into some other technologies like security or voice.

Hope this helps
