Hi i have cisco ASA 5510, with Security Plus license.
My question is, if this device capable of work in active/standby environment?
if yes, then what license should be on second ASA which i am going to buy.
if not, then what i need to do for this ASA to have active/standby setup.
here is other information.
Licensed features for this platform:
Maximum Physical Interfaces : Unlimited
Maximum VLANs : 25
Inside Hosts : Unlimited
Failover : Active/Standby
VPN-DES : Enabled
VPN-3DES-AES : Enabled
Security Contexts : 0
GTP/GPRS : Disabled
VPN Peers : 150

Yes you can do A/S failover.

A: You will need the same license ( as it's required point for FO), and same hardware... take a look at the link in the privous answer.
I don't understand why you have 0 Sec contexts?? you should have 2 at least!

Thank you for your email, and the link, i also researched and on same conclusion, about security contexts, i just upgraded my IOS from 7.0(8) to 8.2(1)and now i have 2 contexts.
i will be making fail over configuration in day or two, then update you, in case of issue.
