Second Line & CFwdAll

We have Cisco 7945 phones and some people monitor a second extension number for colleagues/team leaders etc. Question is if the person wants to use the second line and tries to use the CFwdAll button it's deactivated. I've checked our softkey configuration but can't see where to activate this feature - any ideas?

May be if cisco woke up and implement what a $300 pbx does out of the box, people would stop asking.

I totally agree with you, but i still don't understand why the developers are taking so much time to get this feature into a CUCM release.

The change is in the exact same table as it's for the primary line so i would assume enabling this on all other lines would be a copy-paste of the code, but i really don't know the code so maybe there is something tricky in there?

Java, you know cisco just as I used to knew it from inside.

Nothing happens until a big manager customer screams, a powerful manager wants, or a willing developer hacks.

In this case, none of the above happened yet.

In the meanwhile, just use CME :)

i think the reason that cisco enables it only in primary line because they don't know how to display when multiple lines are forwarded.

may be a marquee message at the bottom of the screen ->> "line1 forwarded to number1, line2 forwarded to number2,..."

:)

That is exactly what CME does without much fuss.
