Unity 7 delete message option changing?

I have some users swearing that the option to delete a message is sometimes option number 2, instead of the default of 3. Everytime I test it, option 3 is heard to delete a message. Can this option change given a certain circumstance?

It wont ever change on it's own or even over upgrades but users can be assigned to different conversations - and custom key map conversation (Unity 7 has 3 of them) allow you to map key actions however you like.

I've had a few sites complain about inconsistent conversation options only to find that some of their users were assigned to different conversations. Worth checking into for users complaining of this at any rate...
