Hi to all,

i want know if the 888 srst can use the bri interface to make call only if the trunk with the main office is down or is possible to configure it to use the bri for local call.

In the documentation it says i can use the bri for fallback, but i hope is possible to use it for local call.

Hi!

The 888 SRST model will support only 4 voice calls, no CME option.

The router supports MGCP too, so you can use the BRI interface directly connected to the PSTN for external calls not

just when in fallback mode, when MGCP would bedisabled. However, you would need a CallManager for the call control.
