IP Communicator

CCM 6.0.1 using IP Communicator V 7.0.1.0

When I install the communicator client on my pc and click on the appl to open it comes up just fine. After 5 minutes the softkey displays and phone lines disappear. This softphone worked fine before and now it will not stay in a condition that will allow me to make a call. It is registered the same way as it was prior to the malfunctions.

Hi!

When the phone lines disappear I guess you just see the date and time. Are you connected using a VPN?

Get a sniffer trace and see if you are trying to connect to the TFTP and CUCM servers. For me it seems like an issue with the

TFTP, or do you get any error on the screen?

You can try resetting the IPC and it that does not help, try going to Settings--> User Preferences--> Backgrounds

and see if you are able to get the images.... try leaving the IPC for about 5-10 min and see if it comes back to normal.

it happens to me as well and the bug below describe my case.

CSCsq88082 - CIPC crashes while product is idle on Win XP SP3
