I have a Cisco 3825 which needs to suppot 10 PRIs. Which NM should I use, since on board only supports upto 8 with 2MFT VWICs?

Here's the data sheet for you including part numbers:

IP Communications Voice/Fax Network Module

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/modules/ps5365/product_data_sheet0900aecd801c595e.html

I would be sure to use the DSP calculator to ensure you have sufficient resources.

DSP Calculator

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/DSP/dsp-calc.pl

Remember that the DSPs on a single PCB (the motherboard is one PCB, each NM is a separate PCB) are capable of being synchronized with only a single clock source. You may experience clock slips if the PRIs using the same DSPs have multiple clock sources.

I saw the voice channel capability as follows:

18 any complexity, 24 medium complexity, or 48 G.711

So does it mean I could only use two PRIs for this NM?

Do you think NM-HDV2-2T1/E1 might be better?

Again, the 3826 is not the right box for 10 PRIs. If it was, cisco would have have put slots for card and dsp directly on the mother and directly without using NMs,m that is a kludge.

Then if you like to meet failure first person, do as you please.

Thanks for the warning. So what do you suggest for the model of 5400 and NMs needed for 10 PRIs? Appreciate your input.

Mostly a budget decision, truth is anything from 5350 will work.

For this PRI density, you best choice is to go directly to an AS series box like 5400XM.
