"sh run" takes extremely long time to execute on cat6500

Hi,

I have a cat6509e and when I issue a "sh run" it takes about 4 minutes before I get any output. The cpu load is about 20 % and I don't use "service compress-config".

I have compared to other c6500 I have and on these it takes about 15 sec.

All c6500 run same IOS.

Any ideas?

Hello Kim,

you may be hitting a bug, what IOS image is in use on the device?

On other threads a similar issue had been described.

Hi Guiseppe,

I'm running 12.2-18.sxf7. I have other devices running the same IOS an there I dont have the problem.
