Network Performance Test & Health Check

for a large Cisco environment. can someone point me to find best practice documentation and what tool to use. my company want to provide Network Performance Test & Health Check as a service.

CiscoWorks' Health and Utilization Monitor (HUM) is a very good tool. A trial license is included with CiscoWorks LMS and a trial copy of the entire suite is also available via download.
