SIP Trunk getting MTP errors

I have a dial out system that has a SIP trunk to Callmanager. Whenever we kick off a dial out Callmanager complains of no MTP resources. The SIP Trunk in callmanager has a media resource group list with MTP resources. They are software MTP's and not hardware.

The dialout system is using G711 so I would think that the software MTP would be OK.

On the SIP trunk I do not have the must ue MTP checked. The CCM version is 6.1.4. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks

Hi Jason,

Can you upload CUCM detailed trace to see why we are failing to allocate the MTP if you are alaredy using G711

Make sure RFC2833 is configured in SIP trunk as well.
