Has Cisco quit supporting the 5xx series PIX software?

I wanted to download 8.0 code for a 515e, but all of the PIX 5xx options do not provide image for download.

Is that it for 5xx software support?

thanks, Kevin

515e supports 8.x code.ensure it has 128 mb RAM ( for UR license ) of 64 MB for R license.

8.x is memory extensive s/w.My recommen. would be to use atleast 128 mb ram to support large no. of connections.

i use 8.0 code on my 515e's in my personal lab and each pix has 64mb of ram and it works fine - even for failover labs. of course, Sushil is right, for production, 128MB ram would be best.

also, i'm pretty sure the PIX appliances will not be supported higher than 8.0.(x)

...also, from the release notes, i dont know what yo'ure upgrading from:

The minimum software version required before upgrading to PIX Version 8.0(2) is PIX Version 7.2. If you are running a PIX version earlier than Version 6.2, you must first upgrade to PIX Version 6.2 or PIX Version 6.3 before you can upgrade to PIX Version 7.2.
