Hi,

%SYS-5-EOBC_CHANNELREINIT:Ethernet out of band channel reinitialized (1)

Indicates that a non-fatal error has occurred. It will let you know when

the EOB

(Ethernet out of Band) TX queue of the internal ASIC was getting stuck.

When this condition

is detected, it reinitialize the ASIC without resetting the switch.

The message is an informational message meaning that the tx queue EOBC

was reset since the tx queue was filled up. The EOBC is a 100 meg half

duplex connection that the linecards use to communicate. Its normal if

occasionally this is reported as its just doing a self recovery. Various

traffic like reporting and NMS can cause this to happen. If its

continually happening in the 100s per day, then its possible that the

mistral asic might be malfunctioning, but if its not happening much,

then its nothing that will affect your switch operation.

Thanks for the information, I see this message just two times in the syslog for last week. Will monitor this switch to see if it reappears.
