Does anyone know how to turn off the SIP diversion header information on a UC520 or other Cisco voice gateway, I've searched, but can't seem to locate anything about it, so I'm hoping someone here has run into it before. Any help that anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,
Is there a reason why you're removing the diversion header?
It's important for redirects to voicemail and other applications.
If it's outbound Diversion you're trying to remove, you can use SIP profiles:
voice class sip-profiles 1
response ANY sip-header Diversion remove
request ANY sip-header Diversion remove
dial-peer voice 100
**dial peer to where we're removing the diversion header**
voice-class sip profiles 1
CUE and other voicemail systems use this field to know where to send voicemail, so use with caution.

We need to remove it because we're having trouble calling a few destinations that don't like the diversion header through our SIP provider, so we would only be removing it in the outbound direction. The solution you presented looks like the one that I need, thanks so much for your help and cautionary advise.
