ASA 5540 changing interface speed form 100Mbs to 1000Mbs

I have in production ASA5540 firewall firmware 8.1(2) and would like to change speed on all interfaces to 1000Mbs. Will I have to reboot device for setting to change?

Are you sure it's 8.1(2)? I don't believe that 5540 supports 8.1 code.

Changing interface speed will bounce the interface, but you don't need to reboot the ASA.
