VWIC-2MFT-E1 clock mutiple link clock question.

VWIC-2MFT-E1 has one pll. if VWIC-2MFT-E1 connect to two different service provider. how can we config clock.

i saw document suggest looped-time clocking , but it said there will be slips happen in router. is this slip affect ip traffic.

how can i config clock !

We had the same issue. Fortunately, Cisco added the capability to allow each of the two T1's on the same WIC to obtain clocking independent of the other. Otherwise, both T1's get their clock from whatever is configured on the first interface on the WIC.

Here is a URL describing the feature. Make sure you remove the channel group statement before you apply the "clock source line independent" statement, then add it back. It does take down both T1's to make this change, since you are removing the channel group statements.

OP cannot have independent clocks with a VWIC card. Only the VWIC2 supports that.

Fortunately, slips are not a major issue for data traffic.
