CCM 4.2 - Resetring Voice Gateway

If i disconnect the voice gateway interface connecting to network switch (interface connecting to call manager) and repatch it to another port on my network switch will i need to register the voice gateway in CCM? CCM will loose connection to voice gateway for about 3mins. I am using MGCP protocol. Or will CMM re-register with gateway once CCM start receiving keepalive?


Is there any instructions i should follow?

Your gateway endpoints will be in unregistered state during change. As soon as you connect to the network endpoints will register to CM. Unless you do some more changes like hostname change.

Just to add a note to the good tips from Konrad. +5 points for your excellent help Konrad :) We just did a change like this a few weeks back and the Gateways came right back up when re-connected and registered without any additional input.
