i have spa9000, firmware 3.3.6.
i try upgrade to 6.1.5 ver, but i have problems.
I tried using the wizard, the .exe loader to upload the Firmware but it just doesn't work. The wizard connects, tells me it sees the SPA9000,Firmware 3.3.6, and then tries for about 15 seconds, and then comes back and says "Failed to Upgrade. Check your network connection or device type." The .exe Firmware loader says"Upgrade Failed: No response from SPA"
Please help me!!!

Double check and see if the software didn't load onto the SPA9000
If it's not at 6.1.5, you can download a standalone SPA9000 software installer called "IP Telephone PBX Software" .You can also grab that software from the SPA9000 software download site;
http://tools.cisco.com/support/downloads/go/Redirect.x?mdfid=282414116
You will need a cisco userid and password or register for one.

Hi Yuri,
Version number of the SPA9000 may be relevant, is your SPA9000 V1 or V1.5 ?
You can try something, I read another message posted regarding 3.3.6 to 5.1.6 software upgrade that stated " I had issues until I went back to default account and passwords for upgrades."
If it is possible, it may be worth while doing a reset to factory defaults and try the upgrade again.
If that fails might it might be more expediant to just call the Small Business Support center (SBSC).
