Per slot switching capacity of a 4506

I have a SUP IV and some non E series line cards. How do I tell if I am exceeding the 6 gig per slot switching capacity of the 4506? Is there some command to use?

What I normally do without getting to the complicated commands is to check the interface for:

- Input and output drops

Input queue: 0/75/0/0 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output drops: 0

Since these line cards are oversuscribed 8:1 if you get beyond the capacity of the backplane connection (1 gig) per groups of 8 ports you'll normally see drops in all the ports of the affected group.

Also:

- sh int g3/1 counters all

You see Tx-Drops-Queue

- sh platform hardware int g3/1 statistics

You see some counter regarding txqueue-noavail or something like that when there are internal drops
