Hi Kyle,

can we have a look at your Softkey config for DND (Ringing, Idle)

From this good CME doc;

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/admin/configuration/guide/cmesoftk.html#wp1010434

Hope this helps!

Rob

Hi Kyle,

Can you please add DND to 4 and 5 as shown below;

1. enable

2. configure terminal

3. voice register template template-tag

4. softkeys idle {[Cfwdall] [DND] [Gpickup] [Newcall] [Pickup] [Redial]}

5. softkeys ringIn [Answer] [DND]

6. exit

7. voice register pool phone-tag

8. dnd

9. template template-tag

10. end

You can use a FAC. Here is the link for that.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/command/reference/cme_f1ht.html

I have one for DND under Telephone-Service I just added fac custom dnd **7 and with that can toggle dnd **7 off and on.

Rob,

When the phone is ringing it has the soft keys Answer and DND but pressing DND does not turn it off.

We have the same configuration at 3 stores so I prefer to keep the configuration as is since it is supposed to be cookie cutter.

Hi Kyle,

Okay, I understand totally :) You may have to actually remove the ephone completely and re-configure.

Cheers!

Rob

PS: Can you let us know a couple of items so we can check for Bugs, CME version, IOS and using SIP or SCCP.

Im having the exact same issue today. I have a user in a remote office with a 7960 saying she cant use her phone and that DND is set and will not remove.  She also claims that she just came in and it was like this, she didnt do anything (magic I guess).  She is currently set to use template 2.

We are running CME 7.0(0) on a 2811.  Im in the process of blowing away her ephone and rebuilding, we will see if that fixes it.

Below is our current ephone templates:

That fixed it for me.  I had to kill the ephone and rebuild it.  Strange.
