Visio Icon for ASA

Can anybody advise where to get the latest Visio icon for the ASA (generic version - not individual models) as seen in tech manuals.

Hi Rose (I hope I have your name correct),

Thank you for your inquiry. Have you already checked out the Cisco Network Topology Icons Visio list? This page includes all the downloadable Visio stencils http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/prod_visio_icon_list.html.

On the list you'll see Security-Cisco ASA 55xx.vss.

We have checked with our illustrators and have not found anything other than the stencils listed here. If the ASA 55xx.vss stencil isn't generic enough, if you can let us know a document where you saw the generic ASA icon, we may be able to track down its source.

Thanks for the reply. I have indeed looked at the page you refer to and downloaded the zip file with All Products. Unfortunately when I go through the ASA files I can only find the individual product specific icons and not a generic one.

Here is an example of the icon I am trying to locate :

There seem to be two Cisco.com locations for downloadable Visio icons, the one I referenced (and that you had already found) under Products&Services, and another at

Check out the ASA5500 icon in the stencil down the page under Icon Set/Visio Template Icons

in 3015vss.zip - Direct link is

http://www.cisco.com/web/about/ac50/ac47/3015VSS.zip

It looks like a match for the ASA5500 in the link you sent.

The last Visio link is the most desirable and it is missing, where can I get the Cisco Generic Visio Icons in Color (Cisco blue)?

Hi,

I'm looking for the ASA Stencils for the ASA 5505, the Security-Cisco ASA 55xx.vss only features rack mountable ASA boxes starting from 5510.

Is it posible to get a stencil for the 5505 also? or atleast a good front picture I can use to place in our documentation instead.

P.S. The other generic stencils are actualle good, have been lokking for the teleprecense one for some time now.

Maybe you should collect them all in one place, making them easier to find in the future.

Hi Jonas,

We just posted an interim unofficial build of the Security-Cisco ASA 55xx.vss that contains the 5505 front and rear.

This is not the official stencil that will be on the Cisco Visio download page after we add several more products soon but several customers have been requesting the 5505 so we wanted to offer it as soon as possible.

All of the official downloads are available in one place:

We have many additional stencils in production right now including Telepresence.
