Swaooing DSP Modules

Hello Everyone,

I have a 2811 and a 2801 that I need to swap DSP modules on. One is a bigger chip than the other. Other than gaining the additional resources on the router that needs the bigger chip is there anything I should look out for? This shouldn't really mess up anything right?

I assume you use PVDM2, so it shouldn't be any problem.

You should be fine as long as you use the DSP calculator to make sure you have sufficient DSPs. Swapping isn't a problem at all, and you can mix-and-match as needed with any PVDM2-X module.
